North Londoner singer-songwriter Thailah is slowly gaining momentum through streams and BBC Radio play. Following her previous single ‘Wired’ – we talked about it in a previous article here – she keeps on growing as an emerging talent, now releasing her debut 5-track EP ‘As Much Fun As Me’.
“I’m proud of it!?! Didn’t think I’d ever feel pride in anything,” says Thailah about her debut EP, then she continues: “not something I did. That I made. And now it’s happened and I’m so happy, because these songs are me: they’re my experiences and my life into music.”
Collaborating on AMFAM with producers Jeff Nang and J.Ar.J (Amber Van Day, Chi Virgo) – influential in the production of Thailah’s single ‘Sweet’ – she jumped onto Spogfy’s NMF Deutschland and amassed over 250,000 streams.
Two of her four tracks have seen BBC Introducing Radio play, Jess IzsaZ of BBC Radio London introduced ‘Pick It Up’ and ‘Wired’ to the nation, and Tom Robinson, from BBC Radio 6, spun earlier releases ‘Bad Manners’ and ‘Joy’.

Her musical inspirations seem impossible to nail down, just like her rising path. Like a Gremlin after midnight, she has chomped out of the cupboard, definitively finding her way on the music scene.
Thailah’s debut EP ‘As Much Fun As Me’ is available worldwide for streaming, out on May 29th 2020, on all the major digital platforms.
