From the Finnish electro pop band MSRBL comes the official music video of ‘Wall’, which they describe as “a short story shoot on 16mm film, about a fear of loss.”

‘Wall’ comes from the sophomore four-track EP on which the Helsinki electro pop/rock band MSRBL is working. The video was directed and filmed by Tuomas Nurmi, who is familiar with numerous videos from the Finnish rap scene. The release of the EP has been postponed to this summer due to the Covid lockdown.

“Wall tells a short story about loss and its fear. Fear creates a wall around us. We decided to perform the song for us in an exceptional way.”

The key they found for this peculiar reading is a touching acoustic atmosphere, which depicts a calming and natural world of sounds that brings humanity into the story, together with the choice to shoot the short movie on 16mm film.
