Having built momentum in North-East England through a steady stream of singles during 2019 – ‘Recover’, ‘Jack Kerouac’ and ‘Castles’ – Mosaic Sun kick off 2020 in style with ‘Deeper Breaths’, the first single off the band’s debut album (out late 2020).

‘Deeper Breaths’ is the first song from Mosaic Sun’s debut album (out late 2020) and deals with the frustrations of working with people that repeat the same inane conversations, repeatedly talking about mundane trivialities that you have no interest in. The silver lining, however, is of taking refuge in your own head; thinking about making music, and that is what pulls you through.

Vocalist and frontman Nabor Riquelme elaborates on the single: “I think everyone can relate to ‘Deeper Breaths’ in one way or another. That feeling of having to push through work or a social function. Despite this, we put a positive, optimistic spin on the song to deliver that message”.
